01_Garantie-CitroënContractual guarantee :

New vehicles in the Citroën range are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for a period of three years or 100,000 kilometers, from the date of delivery.
This date is recorded on the “Warranty Certificate” from the “service book” that is given to you with the vehicle. Contractual warranty covers the repair or the replacement of defective parts by the manufacturer or his representative, and the labor necessary to repair the vehicle.
Paint Warranty :

In addition to the contractual guarantee, Citroën guarantees your vehicle against defects in paint and varnish from the date of delivery shown on the «Certificate of warranty» in the «Warranty and Maintenance” for:

• A period of 3 years in the case of a passenger car.
• The contractual warranty period is 2 years in the case of a commercial vehicle.
• The paint warranty covers the complete or partial restoration of the paint or varnish required to treat a defect, by the manufacturer or its representative.
Anti-perforation warranty :

Citroën guarantees your vehicle against perforation (corrosion from the inside to the outside of the body from the date of delivery shown on the «Certificate of warranty» in the «Warranty and Maintenance” for a period of:
• 12 years in the case of a passenger car.
• 5 years in the case of a commercial vehicle.
The anti-perforation warranty covers repairs or replacement of items found defective by the manufacturer or its representative, on which a perforation due to corrosion appears.
Warranty maintenance and spare parts:
Outside the Contractual Warranty, parts, fittings and accessories original Citroën marketed and used by Citroën and to be fitted to the Citroën vehicles, benefits from a parts warranty that covers any defects.

Warranty extension :

The warranty covers all the parts listed for mechanical breakdown and the associated labor, up to the limit specified on the policy schedule, but subject to any lower limits applicable to a particular part.
