PSA Group’s Global Engine Award of the Year for the 4th year in a row

On 5th of June 2018 in Stuttgart, the jury of the 20th edition of the International Engine of the Year Award, awarded for the 4th year in a row, the prize of the year with the Turbo Pure Tech 110 S & S and 130 S & S gasoline engine. in category 1l to 1.4l.

The family of 3-cylinder gasoline engines is the subject of 210 patents filed by the PSA Group. The new generation of the PureTech engine gains in performance, consumption and efficiency. It allows:
an average gain in consumption of 4% compared to the previous generation,
– an improvement of brio (vehicle engine response time),
– a 75% reduction in particulate emissions.

This new generation of engines, launched in 2017 on the new Peugeot 308, now equips the majority of PSA Group vehicles.
